Have you ever been so caught up that you don’t know How to Trust God as You Go? I know that feeling because I have felt that way many times. Often we are stuck in indecision. Our brains are often unable to navigate through the twists of this life. It is very true, that we all fall short and as a result none of us can boast. In times of trouble, when we want to give up, it is our ability to trust the process, that will bring us through.
“Trust in the Lord,” the good book says, but often it seems like God cannot be trusted. If we are to be really honest, we will admit that God sometimes seems unreliable. This marriage that you thought was from the Lord is causing great havoc in your life. The children that you dedicated into the hands of God all of a sudden are being led into hells place.
Our eyes will see earthly things, but it is with our spirit that we see God. When we look at God through earthly eyes then we cannot truly trust Him or decipher what’s happening to us. We cannot trust God if we are not able to effectively communicate in His language.
The Language of God is faith.
Faith is so important that the Bible clearly states “without faith it is impossible to please God-Hebrew 11:6.
As we walk with God, we must communicate with Him if we are to truly trust Him. If the language of God is faith then we must be faithful. The question now becomes “How do we sufficiently trust a God we cannot see?” What is this faith thing anyways? Scripture says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Unless we are able to see beyond the natural eyes through God’s eyes, we will never be able to fully trust Him. We must be able to speak the unseen into the seen. It is quite adamant that we see through the dark clouds and see the hands of God calming our storms.
Trust The Hands Of God
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;I will be exalted among the nations,I will be exalted in the earth.” -Psalm 46:10
“Though He slays me,” Job uttered in his great bewilderment, “yet will I trust Him.” Job was a man who walked with God, a man of great faith. Job in his anguish knew that his Redeemer lives, and that he would make it through the furnace as pure gold. He knew that God the Almighty knows the path that he takes. It is the same today as in the time of Job. God knows the path that we take and He walks with us as we call on His name.
Trust Him! The great question is “Are we able to trust God when we do not understand what is going on?” Job searched for the Most High in his great grief but God was nowhere to be found . One of the most distinguishing quality of Job’s character was that through all of this he trusted God. When faced with criticism and loss Job affirmed “though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” Are we able to trust God as He processes us through the fire, or will we quit and go our way? Are we able to trust God unto our very death that we may be offered resurrection.
Trusting God Anyway
The thing about trusting God is that it has to be so resolute that we have to trust Him anyways. David was so sure of God presence that he asserted, “Where can I go from Your Spirit?” David went as far as saying “If I make my bed in hell, behold You are there.” Our failure is not in going through hell but it is in going through hell without the knowledge of the Presence of our God. God is there, He is here, in every age, at every time, God is present.
The thing about trusting God is that we have to be so resolute that we trust Him anyways.
If we are to ever fully trust God then we’ll have to let go of all conditions. Trusting God has no conditions, we have to trust Him anyways. We cannot trust Him with our emotions but we have to trust Him because of who He is. He is our God, our Saviour, our Father, our Redeemer, our King, our Creator, He is who He is. God not only is but He is always present, He is with us as we pass through the valley of the shadow of death, and even in death He offers us resurrection. Can’t we trust Him, yes we can! Mustn’t we trust Him? For sure we must!
Keep Going In The Midst Of The Storm
Trials are inevitable, great unforeseeable trials. There are trials that breed trails of pains, pains so multiple that they imprison us in walls of grief. Oh how great the trials that we often undergo. Some hurts are so indelible that they mark us for life. Some wounds travel with us on the bus and in the park, in the office they reside with us and when we sleep they drench our pillows with tears. Oh how great the complexities that we often face.
As I write, I ponder on my own struggles and teardrops are forced to drip from my eyes. I have been left with wounds I often pamper and wounds that often pamper me. I know that it’s no fairy tale, that life can be terrifying in the most horrible ways. Some of us have been robbed of our innocence, some have been neglected for far too long. There are some people who know what it is to walk with the memory of a child they once knew and to live with the horror of a past they can’t change. Our faces are very varied and so are the diversities and the complexities of the problems we have to face.

The Good News
I have good news for you, not strange news but good news. No matter what you go through God is with you and for you and He endeavours to bring you through. Trials may be inevitable but the grace of God is so abundantly rich and the Love of God is so eternally strong that no trial can defeat the ones who trusts in the Lord from their heart. Many times it is the noise in our heads that intimidate us but this is the trap of the evil one. Satan is very treacherous, and if we do not fix our eyes on God then we are doomed to fall for such treachery.
We should attain an intimate knowledge of our God, knowing that it is He who has made us and not we ourselves, that it is He who directs the course of the wind and turns every night into day. It is the same God who puts the howl in the lion’s roar and polishes the seasons with love. He has predestined our very existence and walks with us every step that we take.
Press Forward In Faith Right Now!
I implore you to trust in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.” The thing is that our understanding is so limited that we are not even able to understand earthly things. Consider this limitation, because if we cannot understand earthly things then how can we understand heavenly ones? However it’s not so much about knowing everything or understanding everything, it’s about knowing that God is present with you and that His presence is very faithful.
Are you facing a challenge that kills you every day? Are you so submersed in your situation that you cannot see God? I implore you to press forward in faith and to never give up. Be still and know that the Lord is good, hold your position and run your race with the Spirit of endurance.
As I write, I cannot decipher your struggles, in fact I don’t even know most of you, but this doesn’t matter. The thing that matters is that you trust God while remaining faithful. It doesn’t matter how severe our struggles may be, it’s not about our nationality or our gender or our age, the only thing that matters is that we Trust in the Lord and continue to press forward with great tenacity. God bless you, again I encourage you to trust Him, don’t give up for God is at work in your life.
