12 Powerful Healing Scriptures for the Wounded Life

12 Healing Scriptures for the Wounded

The Bible is saturated with Healing Scriptures for the wounded. These scriptures can greatly help us in our time of need. Brokenness can sometimes be the most beautiful thing going on for us. In the natural, this might seem far from the truth, but in the Spirit, God may be executing His divine plan in our lives. If we search through the scriptures, we will find perfect examples of the ways of God when it comes to healing the wounds of the broken.

God will most definitely chasten the ones He receive, and whoever the Lord loves, He will correct. As I reflect on my own journey, I can see where the discipline of God has helped me to be a better person. Whenever I am wounded, I am humbled to deny myself, and to run to the Lord for strength.

Consider the apostle Paul, as He cried to the Lord for healing. The Bible explains how God dealt with Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:8-10.

Let’s have a look;

Three times I prayed to the Lord about this and asked him to take it away. But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me. 10 I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

If ever you are going through a rough patch, this is a scripture that you must remember. God responded in a way that humbled Paul. His perfect response was, “My power is made perfect in weakness.”  Many times the things that we think are breaking us, are really making us into the perfect stature of Christ.

As God scolded Paul, his response was; “I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and difficulties for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” What happened here is that Paul changed his perspective on what was happening to him. Paul realized that the power of God was being worked out in his life.

Are we able to respond to life’s challenges as Paul did?

We should all come to a place where it doesn’t matter what happens to us, we know that God is working all things out for our good. When we are uncertain about life’s challenges, let us remember that God knows what He is about.

Let us take a look at some Healing Scriptures for the broken, and let us look at how God deals with our brokenness in His sovereign way.
