Mercy Seat

Mercy Seat

Mercy Seat

I run to mercy seat,

Hoping He will quench my thirst.

I marvel with a bellow at His feet,

Jah tends me when me teardrops burst!

I travail with a song all night long,

I partake with the weak, moving along.

But my Christ is a tower for me,

He rushes like wind and sets me free.

I rejoice with the angels on high,

For he heard me when I poured my cry.

And I run to mercy seat,

I marvel with a bellow at His feet.
