What Does The Bible Say About Fear?

Fear is so crippling, that it rids us of our ability to achieve our divine goals. When we look at ‘What The Bible Says About Fear,’ we can learn a lot that will help us to live more abundantly.

When we fear, we go against the natural law of faith that gives. Based on what the Bible says about fear, it is very clear on the impacts it can have on us and why we should have faith. God didn’t give us fear, but He gave us Love, Power and soundness of mind.

As people who seek to advance into life and become better, we should avoid fear at all cost. When we fear we hamper our ability to achieve.

Isaiah 12:2 “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.


1 John 4:8 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Don't Fear Man, Fear God.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Psalm 112:7-8 He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord. His heart is steady; he will not be afraid, until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
