Family
I’m captured by the smiles that their faces show,
How much I love then all, they just wouldn’t know.
In all my endeavours, moments I breathe, in this life that I live,
There’s nothing to replace, for family is the greatest gift God will ever give.
I’m comforted by the thought that it’ll be fine,
In the presence of loved ones, I feel joy divine.
I peak in all happiness, to commune with the splendor I see,
In an atmosphere of peerless joy, without them I just couldn’t be me.
I disregard the differences, to keep the light awake,
I pamper their tears, through times they might ache.
Like a fish in the ocean, like a bird in the wild with a song,
When I’m a distant away, I realize there is where I belong.
I feel success through their times of achievement,
We face them together, times of bereavement.
In all my endeavours, moments I breathe, in this life that I live,
There’s nothing to replace, for family is the greatest gift God will ever give.
