Silent Cry
Oh tears, why you run from my eyes?
Why you scar on my bruises and never realize?
You rain, yet never rectify my pain,
How you shadow my merry and trespass my sane…
The memories awake you at rest,
And when lonely I pamper you best.
Oh droplets of hurt, you craft my grave,
You’ve clouded the sunshine and the joy you enslave.
You attack, amidst the will to go on,
And the weakness inside breaks me at dawn…
Still I challenge the grief I now know,
And I fight the expression I show.
You’ve been a friend for long,
The reason I’m not strong.
Oh tears, could you go and never be by,
Run away with the wind and never reply.
