I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me.

As you go through today find courage in meditating on this scripture found in Philippians. Paul the Apostle was going through a rough time that gave him no other choice but to realize that the only help he had was Christ Almighty. As we walk with God it is so important to identify with the power of His resurrection that gives us strength. When we identify with the power of God in our lives, it is only then that we can confidently say “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

All things doesn’t mean only the good and favourable. All things mean that if we are put in the most upsetting situations that we will cope and endure in the hardest times. Paul in verse 12 of Philippians 4 says that He knows how to abound and how to be abased. Paul is really acknowledging that sometimes the situations will be awkward and uncomfortable but he has the coping mechanism. The heart knowledge that it is through Christ that you will make it through, is what will get you through. The confidence Paul had was not in his own abilities but it was in the power of Jesus Christ who Paul acknowledges as giving him strength.

Sometimes we might feel as if we are not enough. I want to say to you that by yourself you are right that you not not enough. You are incapable and insufficient to do it on your own. It is through the resurrection power of Christ that we will make it at the end of the day. God wants to give us the power to endure. God in His word exclaims that He wants to give us abundant life. I encourage you to never lose sight or be distracted. As you go about your business today, walk in the confidence that “You the believer can indeed do all things through Christ who gives you strength.”
