When we can’t see beyond our current circumstances, we lose hope, and this can literally kill us. In our rainy days, faith gives us evidence that there will be a brighter day.
Faith fuels our engines when we tire along our way.

Hebrew 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. The Bible says “without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. ” We must believe because if we don’t believe then we cannot receive. We must receive and so we must believe.
When we look at our lives, we will see that almost everything that we do will require some amount of faith. Every time we walk, we step in the confidence that our legs won’t fail us. If we believe that our legs are too weak then we will never walk. We must believe our legs won’t fail us before we start walking or we could fear walking and stay put.

I remember when I was growing up I saw myself as a writer and I believed my way into existence. We must look beyond our present selves and we must see the self we envision. And then see this self so tangible as if this is who we are in the here and now. Hold to this self in the confidence of faith.
Look Through Lens Of Faith
We must magnify our lens of faith and pawn the evidence in the palm of our being. As we look at our circumstances we must see beyond them. We should know that things are most often not as they seem. There is the unseen and in this unseen we must see. Let us never allow our present reality to define our lives. God is offering us life and we must see this life. Let us purchase our divine possessions with the currency of our faith.
Perhaps the greatest part of faith is our ability to hope. The Bible says that hope does not disappoint. To hope is to find rest in the faithfulness of our God. By hoping we trust in the ability of God to perform what He says He will perform. As we go, let us remember that it is not massive faith that pleases God. The Bible says that even if our faith is as small as a mustard seed, we can still say to the mountain, be moved, and the mountain will be moved.
Let today be a day when we renew our commitment to trust God in the midst of what’s going. I pray we will see beyond the present moment, into the beautiful realities that can unfold in our lives. Our sole duty is to trust God and as Abraham did, to believe.
Helpful Prayer: Dear God, I pray that You empower my mind to trust You and to have faith in Your Word. Give me the courage to believe that all You have promised will manifest. Give me the insight to see beyond the present moment into the wonderful future that is coming. Amen.
