Let us look at 7 Biblical Affirmations You Should Be Reciting Daily. Similar to how we should constantly pray, we should constantly fill our spirits with these healing words, that are sure to add value to your life.
1. I am a child of God
You are God’s
When you hurt, find comfort in the fact that you are God’s and that in the truest form of who you are, you yourself is a god. As close as the sheep is to the lamb, we are close to God. Don’t be afraid to own up to your identity or act like the unbeliever, who seldom believes his or her true identity. Be the person of faith and boldness, who can stand in front of the largest crowd, and proclaim, I am a child of God.
2. His Grace is Sufficient For Me
In our insufficiency, the grace of God will suffice. The grace that God offers us is so rich and abundant, that we can each receive an eternal supply and it will never run out. We should rely on this grace, as we face the unforeseen troubles of our everyday life.
Consider Paul the Apostle in Corinthians 12:9. The Bible explains Paul as having a thorn in his flesh. This thorn caused Paul to cry to the Lord on numerous occasions. Paul knew that God was his only hope. As Paul cried, the divine response of God was “My grace is sufficient for you.” God went on further to say to Paul “For my power is made perfect in your weakness.”
God Perfects His Power in Our Weakness
The Bible didn’t state what this thorn was but it is evident that it was causing great pain in Paul’s life. Many of us have travelled with thorns in our flesh for years. We might wonder why, and we might even wonder if God is with us as He promised. Be encouraged. God is perfecting His power in our weakness and our weakness should be seen as a blessing.
In my own life, I have learned many lessons from the painful encounters I have experienced. My pain has taught me the jewellery of patience, and my wounds have made me a more wonderful worshipper.
Don’t be discouraged when you face life’s many trials, see the power of God in your situation, and learn the lessons that God is teaching you. As you reflect on these ‘Biblical Affirmations You Should Be Reciting Daily,’ never forget, that His grace is sufficient for you.
3. I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me
Our potential as human beings is directly related to our Creator. As stated earlier, we have been made in the image of God. This image allows us to do the impossible and to harness the unseen. It is not that we are strong, but it is that God is strong, and He supplies us with His strength.
As you travel through the corridors of time, be reminded that the tasks you want to complete, can and must be completed. While attempting to complete these tasks, also be reminded that it is only through the support and the strength of our Lord, that you can be successful. It is not by our might or by our power, but it is through the spirit of God that we find our victory.
When you faulter along your way, girth your strength, and be vigilant in pressing forward, knowing that indeed “you can do all things through Christ who provides you with His strength.”
4. I Am Forgiven
Many of us have been prosecuting ourselves for years. We live in the prison of our own making, not owning up to the power of forgiveness in our lives. Even though this is so, we must understand that God forgives the one that calls on His name in repentance.

The only prerequisite to our forgiveness, is that we forgive others of their trespasses. If we learn to forgive others, God promises to forgive us. Amidst this fact, we hold grudge against ourselves, and we condemn the one that God has set free. This should never be so.
There have been times in my own life, where I have had to constantly remind myself that I am forgiven and that God is a great forgiver. I can say that I have first hand experience with these Biblical Affirmations You Should Be Reciting Daily. In the past, I have had to remind myself of the importance of forgiving others of their trespasses and affirm my own forgiveness.
There were days when the enemy would bombard me with lies of condemnation. I had to use the scriptures to defend myself. Consider this, that there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ, to those who walk according to the Spirit and not after the flesh (Romans 8:1). Say it with me, “I Am Forgiven.”
5. The Lord is my Shepherd, I Shall Not Want
It was the Psalmist who said, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” If the Lord is tending to our daily needs, then we will lack nothing. The major responsibility of a shepherd, is to tend to the wellbeing of the herd. Up to this point, all I have been explaining is the provisions of God. Our Jehovah Jireh will provide.
If ever you feel that you lack, be reminded that God is a provider. Call on Him, and as you call, also believe that He is faithful to fulfill all that He has promised to fulfill. Each day that you live, proclaim this to yourself “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
6 .The Lord Is Guiding My Every Step
Let’s say this together, “The Lord Is Guiding My Every Step.” When it comes to Biblical Affirmations You Should Be Reciting Daily, this is one of the most important. When we face the struggles of everyday living, it is paramount that we remind ourselves of the inherited protection we have. As a father, the Lord is guiding His children.
God Is Our Only Protection
For the believer, his hope is that as he walks, God is guiding his every step. Consider how blind we are, that we don’t even know what will happen in the next hour of our lives. Each time I leave my home and return, I thank God for bringing me back home safely. I particularly give thanks, because I realize that God has protected and continues to protect me in every way.
As someone who drives everyday, I also know that God is who protects me on the road, and it is not in my own ability to drive. The skill of driving is essential, but it is not enough to protect you from all the evil forces that would want to come against you. Your only protection is God, who goes before you, as the scripture says, “I will go before you, and make the rough places smooth.”
It is by faith that we walk on our way. This is what will cause us to step out on stormy waters knowing that the Lord will keep us up. As you go, have faith. Affirm in your spirit that, “The Lord is with me and He is guiding my every step.”
7. Nothing Can Separate Me From The Love Of God.
What are you persuaded about? Cogitate for a while, and single out one thing that persuades you to do what you do. The number one thing that persuades me, is the Word of God that offers me truth. Paul the Apostle in Romans 8:38 explains his own persuasion. For Paul, he is persuaded that nothing will ever be able to separate him from the love of God.
Paul lists out the possible things that may separate him from God’s love, and then he affirms that nothing can separate him from this love, which he finds in Christ. Look into your own life and consider the things that come against you to steal God’s love from your heart.
There are seen and unseen forces that come against us everyday. Some of us have had to fight with sicknesses daily, others have marital problems that bring them to nought. There are people travel with the world on their heads, while others are submersed under heavy waters.
God’s Love Is Stubborn
I want to remind you of the Psalm of David, where David asks the question while addressing God, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?” David found out that there is nowhere He could have gone, where God is not. The Psalmist found that even if he made his bed in the pit of hell, that God is there. This scripture exemplifies the stubborn love of God.
The love of God is so committed to love, that there is nothing we can do to prevent it, all we have to do is receive it.
Never forget this very fact, that God loves you more than you can even imagine.
As we conclude, let us conclude on the notion that our affirmations will give life to our lives. Don’t be afraid to affirm the various truths of God over your life. Proclaim them from you lips, loud and bold, and let them take hold in your spirit. God bless you.
